Adaklu MP hands over two newly-built CHPS Compounds to District Health Directorate

The Member of Parliament for Adaklu, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has officially handed over two new CHPS Compounds in the Constituency to the Health Services Directorate. A team led by Hon. Samuel Atomy Dorfe, the NDC Constituency Chairman, Wednesday 29 April, 2020 handed over the two facilities, situated at Adaklu Have and Adaklu Amuzudeve, to the communities on behalf of the MP.

As part of the MP’s quest to improve the Healthcare delivery within the constituency, he commissioned the construction of the said facilities with two unit nurses’ quarters at the aforementioned communities. This facility at Have will undoubtedly make basic healthcare accessible to the people in and around the Dzakpo, Vodze and other satellite communities. Similarly, the new Amuzudeve CHPS Compound will serve the People of Amuzudeve, Blidokofe, Gavorkope, Segbale and its surrounding communities.

In a brief handing over ceremony, the team entreated the beneficiaries to ensure a strict maintenance culture. The District Director of Health, Mr Charles Azagba, the health workers, chiefs and elders and the people of the communities expressed their appreciation to the Member of Parliament, encouraging him to continue in his tremendous efforts towards the improvement of the health sector.

Meanwhile, work is ongoing on a similar project at Adaklu Wumenu which is about 95% complete.
