COVID-19 Meltdown: Logba Tota Youth donate to community

Some well-meaning citizens of Logba Tota ,a community in the Afadjato South District of the Volta Region, have donated items to the various clans in the community as a way of assisting them in the era of the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus. The group, known as the Logba Tota Youth, on Sunday May 3, 2020 donated over 1000 face masks to the community. The items also included 6 boxes of liquid soap, 6 boxes of alcohol-based hand sanitizer, 3 bags of wrapped tissue and carbonated soaps.

The members of the group who are mainly resident in Accra and abroad, made the donation as their way of supporting families back home in the ongoing fight against COVID-19. Some leading members of the group, Mrs Peace Ankor together with Madam Patience Agbava and Mr. Nat Howusu, donated the items on behalf of the group.

Mrs Peace Ankor assured the community of their support in this challenging time and advised them to adhere to all laid down protocols to ensure they don’t contract the deadly virus.

I can assure you that we shall always be there to support you at all times but you must also do your part and ensure you stay safe,” she admonished.

Some representatives of the various clans who received the items expressed their excitement and gratitude for the support and urged other citizens to emulate what the group’s example . They expressed their gratitude to the group and wished them well.
