GT Bank Commissions ICT Laboratory For Ho Technical University Basic School

As part of its corporate social responsibility, GT Bank Ghana has on the 13th April, 2022 has in a colorful ceremony commissioned and handed over a fully furnished ICT lab to the management, facilitators and learners of the Ho Technical university Basic School in Ho.

The Ceremony had in attabdabce the Vice Chansellor (VC) of the University and other managment members, the municipal director of education, reps from the municipal Assembly, Staff of GT Bank, the traditional leaders led by Togbe Anikpi of Ho Heve, parents and members of the School staff and community members.

Remarks by the VC of the Ho Technical University stated that, the provision of the ICT lab is a blessing in accomplishing the dream of the university in enhancing the learning of students of the school, he further stated GT Bank has provided life by bringing to life the ICT lab of the school.

Madam Beatrice the headmistress of the basic school mentioned her gratitude to GT Bank and is optimistic that, the support by GT Bank will go a long way to enhance the knowledge of learners and enable them do better than previously.

The representative of GT Bank, Madam Agnes Afram stated that, GT Bank is poised to support schools with ICT equipment just as done in Ho, the bank has refurbished the entire facility and has provided 62 well connected computers, a project and other needed items to ensure smooth usage of the facility, she added that, the bank has provided a technician to ensure maintenance of the facility for 12 months. She was glad the project which started in 2021 has seen the light of day.

The students and parents as well as the entire community was glad for the gesture and sure the relationship between them and the bank will be deepened.
GT Bank has hinted plans of opening branches in Ho and the university is willing to offer space for their office
