GWBF SCRIBE SECURE TOP MINIFOOTBALL JOB

The Secretary General of the Ghana wheelchair Basketball Federation(GWBF) who doubled as the President of the Ghana wheelchair Minigolf Association (GAWMA) has landed an Executuve Board Member Position of the Minifootball Association of Ghana (MAG)

With credible documents intercepted by our outfit the Para Sports Administrator and the disability advocate appointments letter took immediate effect from the 10th of June 2020 which the letter stated boldly his appointment as an Executive Board Member for a period of five (5 ) years and maximum of three terms and as well stated the role and task involved .

The appointment letter which was signed on the 25th of May 2020 by the President of the Minifootball Association of Ghana ( MAG) Mr Andrews Ako Nai stated the following roles with regards to the executive board members appointed,

1. To formulate strategic policies for the Association.

2. To make recommendations , offer advice and assist in decision -making of the Association.

3.To review budget request and to make recommendations for allocations amount

4. To formulate and enforce procedures which facility the development of Minifootball.

Mr Andrews Ako Nai as well congratulated Lion Agbesi for the appointment and wish him the very best and as well revealed all issues bothering the financial reward for the appointment will be discuss and address in the contract.

In an interview with “The Lion” as he is popularly referred to in the Sports fraternity,he confirmed the appointment stating, “Yes I have received the official appointment letter to serve on the board of the Minifootball Association of Ghana (MAG) and I must say I am humbled and as well thank the Almighty God for making it possible and granting me this great opportunity to once again contribute my quota to the development of Ghana Sports.My appreciation also goes to the leadership of MAG for the trust and confidence they have in me and want to assure them of my total commitment, dedication, trust , honest , determination and hard work as much as the task given to me is concern, I strongly believe I can and Yes I can , focus and results would be my priority and that is the principle I will be basing my five (5 ) years stewardship with the Association as in my first term of office.Finally I want to thank my family, friends, well wishers and fans for their continues prayers for me and once again want to remind them that I always stick to my principle with regards to work and would once again make them proud in the administration of Minifootball”.

When asked about how his Dzolo Gborgame Raiders Minifootball Club (DGRMC) is doing,the outspoken sports administrator have this to say “To be sincere the Club have been on recess for some time now before the Covid19 pandemic due to some situations and also funding difficulties after the death of my dad a year a go, things have been slow for the Club but the good news is the Board Chairman of the Club Mr. Samuel Debrah has called on the technical team of the Club thus Mr. Wise Koffie the Team Manager and Mr. Bright Atiwo Tsahey the Coach to start putting things in place and start preparing the boys down so as soon as the restriction is lifted fully on Sports activities the Club can resume training and get ready for the season”.

“We are also putting together proposals to see how best we can secure other source of funding for the Club and also other investment avenues for the club”.

He concluded by calling on God to guide him and give him the wisdom and knowledge he needed to succeed in the new position and as well asking all to remind him in their in their prayers.
