Mahama’s Former Minister Takes Final Journey @ 57

Alfred Ekow Gyan was laid to rest as grief, pain, and cries took center stage at the Bethel Methodist Church in Takoradi when the mortal remains of the former Deputy Western Region Minister under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration, Alfred Ekow Gyan was laid to rest.

His wife, children, siblings, and other family members could not hold their tears as they file past his body. Mr. Ekow Cyan is one of the many politicians who has built a very good reputation for himself in the political arena, many have mentioned him as very affable.

To members of the umbrella family, it was a great loss looking at the achievements he spearheaded during his term as the minister. Big party wigs, including former President John Dramani Mahama, Chairman, Mr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, and many others were at the church premises to pay their last respect to their departed comrade.

After all the arrangements were concluded, the coffin containing the body was covered and conveyed to the cemetery for final burial. The fifty – seven – year – old former minister died after suffering from a short illness.
