Dr. Dzokoto mentioned Ho Central as the worst hit as it has recorded 12 cases out of the total 27 for the region. He also revealed that the worst affected persons are the aged and has called for proper healthy lifestyle.
“The aged have a weaker immune system and that makes them prone to the virus”.
He also indicated that they are doing enough routine surveillance at the various health centres and stressed on the fact that, they also have some contingency measures to take when it gets out of hands. He therefore called on the media, traditional rulers and other key stakeholders to continue educating the public on the laid down safety measures so as to curtail the spread of the deadly pandemic.
