The president, HE Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo, has said in clear words that the comments and the continuous bashing of the outspoken legislator, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, don’t, in any way, affect his vision as a president.
The president expressed this sentiment during the first ever media engagement to brief the country on his government’s achievements within the first six months in office and what they aim to do in the years ahead to better the lives of Ghanaians.
During a question and answer section, renowned journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah, asked to know if any of the utterances of the NPP stalwart affects him (president) in anyway. But in a rather fondling tone of voice, the president said he is ready to work for Ghana no matter the issues raised even by people from his own ranks.
This follows recent comments of Agyapong accusing the president of sidelining people of Central Region in the appointment of ministers and other portfolios. “That is not true” the president said.
